The Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society (MCRS) educates the public about companion rabbits and supports rabbit welfare through foster, adoption, and outreach programs.
The Email Hotline Lead manages our public-facing email hotline and coordinates the knowledgeable volunteers who respond to inquiries from the general public. This role ensures responses align with MCRS’s mission by maintaining accurate, compassionate, and helpful template replies and managing the volunteer schedule.
Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Education Director and Marketing Lead to maintain and enhance template responses for frequently asked questions related to rabbit care, health, behavior, and MCRS programs.
Coordinate the Hotline volunteer schedule, notifying volunteers of their assigned week at least two weeks in advance.
Serve as the point of contact for Email Hotline volunteers for questions or support.
Qualifications/Experience:
Completion of MCRS Orientation and relevant training
Strong written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of volunteers and adopters
Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
Knowledge of rabbit care is helpful, but not required
