MCRS is seeking motivated and collaborative volunteers to serve as Fundraising Committee Members. In this role, volunteers support the planning and execution of fundraising efforts that help sustain MCRS’s rescue, education, and outreach programs. This position is ideal for individuals who want to contribute meaningfully to a nonprofit without taking on a leadership role, while still having opportunities to grow skills and share ideas. Time Commitment: Approximately 2 – 5 hours per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Fundraising Committee in planning and carrying out fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives

  • Assist with research, brainstorming, and idea development for new fundraising opportunities

  • Help with donor engagement activities such as thank-you messages, outreach, or event support

  • Collaborate with other committee members to meet fundraising goals and timelines

  • Provide feedback and insights to help improve fundraising strategies and member engagement

  • Assist with administrative or organizational tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Passion for animal welfare and alignment with the MCRS mission

  • Interest in nonprofit fundraising or donor engagement (prior experience welcome but not required)

  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow through on assigned tasks

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
